Digital TV Recorder with Scart output
Discussion
Ordered a 9150T from Humax Direct but neither me or their technical department could stop the picture from stuttering. They sent an exchange unit but this did the same! It is likely that my father-in-law's TV aerial/coax could do with replacing but the fact is we can run two other freeview TVs and two other Thomson boxes without any problems so if there is an issue it is only affecting the Humax boxes. I always thought Humax was a good choice for Freeview recorders?

Are you splitting the same aerial feed to all those devices? Do you have a powered distribution amp? Have you tried the Humax direct to the aerial with no split? All these devices were tested in isolation both with and without an amplifier at the point where the coax enters the house. The obvious solution is to get a TV aerial engineer in but by default if several boxes/TVs work without a problem then the current set up should have been sufficient for the Humax 9150T.
The Humax was supposed to be a way of giving my Father-in-law a fully functional HDD recorder until he is ready to upgrade his TV to HD.
