Denon Hi-Fi Question
Discussion
In one of my rooms there is an AV setup which uses a Denon AVR-1910 unit - which looks to have blown its transformer (or at least there is no power on it and its not just fused)
Now I didn't set this up - but its been setup with an ir interface with lots of other gear
If I buy a current Denon (or other) AV unit - will it work off the same codes so I can just plug it in without having to alter the Crestron control codes?

I can't give a definite answer but in my experience amps from the same manufacturer do tend to use the same remote codes, so stuff like power and volume will be OK, on the other hand the inputs would quite likely be a bit different. The other thing is that most modern AV amps have fully assignable inputs so you may find you'll need to fiddle with the inputs to get it working properly
