I need a couple of boosters because the signal from the wall sockets in a flat I have is crap. There are loads around some that are better than others no doubt. Any recommendations?

Has your flat got its own dedicated aerial? Or is there a communal system?

I suspect a booster may not help much if at all.

If the signal is already weak at the socket, the booster will simply be boosting noise rather than a proper signal.

There may well be a fault with your communal aerial, or the distribution amplifier that feeds the socket in your flat.

Or the aerial may not even be the correct one for Freeview.

You could try a booster, it may fix the marginal channels, get one from somewhere you can take it back if it doesn't work, a local shop or Screwfix/Maplins if you have one nearby.
