Annoying Shadow on TV
Discussion
I've got a Panasonic 42" plasma connected to a Humax Freesat HD box via HDMI. Watching BBC1 HD, when a programme finishes, they often split the picture with the credits rolling up the left side and info on programmes to come on the right. There is often a big difference in brightness between each side of the screen. This results in an effect where I can see a shadow of the programme credits on the left cast across the right hand side of the screen.
It probably happens in other high contrast situations but i notice most because of the way the BBC split the screen and that it happens after most of their programmes.
It's the sort of crummy quality I'd expect with an old analogue setup, but when everything is digital I can't see a reason for it.
Anyone else get this or suggest how to correct it?

I have a similar problem with my Panasonic plasma TV, seems very visible when sky (thing above the ground, not the TV network) is showing, like top gear on the track, I've been told its an uneven backlight, I had panasonic out to look at it when it was just over a month old who seemed to think it was nothing, sort of just don't look at it mentality, superb service.
Wont be buying another panasonic again.
