HDMI CONVERTER COAX SKY MAGIC EYE
Discussion
Hello
I asked something like this before.
When pulling in cables to my kitchen tv i just wanted to have on tv what was going to be played in the living room
I pulled in x2 COAX cables
I have read however picture quality won't be any good....Can i get any converters or suggestions to improve picture quality?
I have a new sky hd box which i don't think has a RF2 output
Any ideas/suggestions would be great
Thanks

Hi there, I've used one of these before with no problems. It was also an old coax run of about 25 meters.

Have you actually tried it, before you splash out on new bits of kit?
£25 or so for the I/O port and give it a go. Remember to tune the tv channel down from its default CH68 to a lower number where you have space in the Freeview channel line up. This makes a massive difference to the picture quality.
Where are you based, maybe a friendly installer could be local to help you.
Other options include hdmi over coax, Freeview modulator or Freeview HD modulator. Then not just the kitchen screen can watch the sky box but all tv's in the house.
