I'm a relative novice when it comes to tech stuff.

I've recently bought a Smart TV and now everything i have can be connected to phone lines etc.

I've got TV, Sky Box, Xbox & Blu Ray player. At the moment i've got cables everywhere and numerous splitters. Is there something that i can lead everything to? I'll be changing from Sky soon so should have a decent BT hub with fibre which i'm guessing everything can be plugged into. Also is there decent cables i can be buying without spending a fortune?

You want an AV receiver with a variety of inputs and one 'out' to your TV.

Something like this for ethernet "data" cables.
