I have now insulated the TV Room but cant board it until I lay the speaker cable. I have ordered 50 meters but I am now not sure where to lay the points to.

If the blue line represented the screen, where would I need my speakers roughly?

Should i lay enough for 7:1 or just 5:1, i currently have a 5:1 system

Thanks
N

I'd lay for 7.1 or more if a dedicated cinema room.

I'd cable for Atmos if I were you. Cable is relatively cheap, so stick in 7.2.4

How far back is the seating in your layout?

On a practical point trying to pair 7 surround speakers with Atmos not be possible because of the bi-fold doors, so you side surrounds would have to in the ceiling and this will mess with the in-ceilings needed for atmos.

Personally, I would consider a 5.2.2 Atmos configuration if it isnt a dedicated room.
