squeezebox duet and deezer

Hopefully someone here can help because its driving me nuts.

After weighing up my option re sonos, harmon kardon etc I decided to stay with squeezebox and purchase a squeezebox duet to complement my boom radios.

Duet purchased and setup was fine. Everything plays fine using the duet remote ie music and deezer. Everything except the duet receiver. It simply wont play deezer through my amp, yamaha z7. Everything else plays but all it says when I try to stream deezer is that it is "connecting"..... swapping it over to one of the other squeezeboxes it plays with no issue.......

Anyone have any experience with these?

I have registered with squeezebox the new controller and receiver but one thing i did notice with the controller was that the account shows the controller as not connected but it still seems to play fine....
