Cyrus 8 vs amp and Cyrus CD 6s

Hello all, for many a year, I have had the above mentioned separates system from new. Linked up to Elac FS 207.2 speakers which I will probably keep.

I haven't been using the Cyrus seperates for several years so am thinking of offloading so I can put the money towards some digital kit.They are both in silver, mint condition, remote for each (unused cd remote), Cyrus lead, original boxes. My question is, what is something like this worth nowadays and where is a good place to advertise it?

I haven't gone down the digital route but I upgrade both my amp and CD player to CD I. Very pleased with the result. Maybe have a word with your local dealer to see what options they
offer. In terms of selling, eBay ?

I recently paid £200 for a 6VS off Ebay to replace my old Cyrus 1. I think the 8VS goes for a fair bit more, around £350 or so.

have a look at ebay and completed auctions is probably the best option, also a fairly reasonable way to sell.

many specialist hifi forums might get you more but there is usually a monimum post count before you can sell.
