Anyone know if I can link the sonos 5 via the TV then maybe two play 1 in the corner for my bedroom. Or will there be a delay in sound playing across the network? Reason being I don't want extra TV speakers and want the sonos for music duties so great if it can do both.

You would have stereo from the 5, then left from one 1 and right from the other, and wouldn't be able to group them all together so would have to activate two zones

Pretty sure it would sound rubbish, and probably have lip sync issues.

Get a play at, it is what it's designed to do. Get a used one if you have to

Unfortunately i don't want the big black play bar in my pure white bedroom. Maybe I'll wait for the white one..

I've tried linking a play 5 to TV and it doesn't work very well. We've now got a play bar which is great, as already suggested.

Not a recommendation as I haven't used them. I have fitted the Flexson equivalent on Play 5 though and it was dead easy.

Jubbly! That might work. Tights might be cheaper though..

Bought a play bar in the end. Hope I won't be disappointed. Think I'll go for 2 play 3s as surround.
