Broken another Dynavector. What to buy?
Discussion
All,
I have just bent the cantilever and ruined my second Dynavector DV-10x5 in about a year. I am a rather cross clumsy oaf.
Although I like these cartridges (I had the first for about 5 years, then bought another) I'm clearly not capable of looking after them. I could return the old one as a p/x on a new one again, which will bring the cost down, but suspect I'll do it again.
What can the good people of PH suggest which is either cheaper, or has a replaceable stylus? I'm looking for something with a bit of sparkle.
Turntable is a Gyro SE with a TecnoArm, amp is an old Exposure pre power, speakers are Proac Studio 115. To replace the Dynavector would cost about £300.
Awaiting your sage words.

As said, MC don't generally have removeable styli. MM do, but the stylus often represents such a high proportion of the cartridge cost anyway so as not to make much difference.
I have the same TT and arm as you. When I got it, I bolted on a Denon DL-110 that I already had to get me going. Many hundreds of hours later and it is still there! It is a fantastic cartridge for the money, but when I replace it I will go for something better to match the TT and arm.
I am thinking about Ortofon 2M Black or Nagaoka MP500, but these things are quite hard to audition.

1042 has been in situ for a while now, we're not really gelling.
Also suspect it has seen better days, as rather raspy but no end of cleaning, adjustment stc seems to sort it. Father in law is a big music fan, so suspect it has had a full life already. Still kind of him to offer it though.
So back to the drawing board. I think I prefer MC cartridges. Does anybody have any experience if the Benz Micro range? Either the Gold or the Ace?

Thanks for the suggestions. In the end I bought another 10x5, due to the fairly substantial trade in discount they offer. Now playing the set up game, tweaking vta, vtf, cartridge alignment to get it just right :-)
All that said, I do also have a Systemdek with a rather more humble mp-110 which could benefit from an upgrade...
