What do you people use to calibrate your screens to ensure the picture colors are correct.

There is cheap disks and software/hardware available available online.

Alternatively there are people that do this for a living with seriously high end kit.

As Vex mentioned, it depends on how serious you are into calibration. Some will be happy with a THX optimizer disk that comes with many Blu-Rays / DVD's. The next step would be something like the Spears & Munsil hand forged disc which covers most aspects of basic calibration without needing a meter or pattern generator. This helps with things more advanced than just contrast, sharpness & brightness, but doesn't go as deep into settings as CMS adjustment.

Enthusiasts might opt for one of the cheaper SpectraCal kits and a budget meter to correct elements in the displays CMS if it has one.

Just a THX one will do, I'll search my blu-Rays to see if I already have one.
