Hi,

I used to send a signal from my sky box to another room via a wireless sender but this wasnt a great picture so i moved to Sky Multi Room.

Im moving house and will continue with the multi room option but Id also like sky in my garage as well (half used as a gym)

Given it doesnt get loads of use i would ideally like to avoid another monthly subscripton so given that tech has moved on since i last use a video sender what are my options given;

I will have a sky multi room box in the room directly above the garage
I would ideally like to be able to change channel in the Garage but not essential
I would ideally like a HD picture but not essential

Any help and link to products would be appreciated smile

TVLink will handle the remote control - http://www.tvlink.co.uk/ - you'll probably also need an IOLink if you have a more recent Sky box.

You could combine this with an HDMI splitter e.g. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Neet%C2%AE-SPLITTER-Amplif...

Then you'd run an HDMI cable and a co-ax cable (to run the TVLink) down to the garage.

Exactly this.

It would be they way I would do it for a client. Neet stuff is good and cheap, you just need to check that the Multi Room box has an I/o port and that you activate it. Some boxes need power cycling once it has been turned on to get it to active.
