Currently receive Sky TV (Family package and with out BT Phone/Broadband account get BT Sport - which I only use for the MotoGP
BT Sport is now going to cost £5/month plus another £6,75 if I don't renew my contract.
Our BT phone Broadband cost is currently £50/month and the Sky TV cost is £29/month. So £80 total
We've had BT on the phone tonight offering BT Infinity & Broadband for £60/month.
What are folks views on BT Infinity?
What's this I read about TV on PC is that any good?
How else can I get to watch the MotoGP races - Eurosport.de has them on live but I'll need an old (analogue?) dish and receiver for that.
Can of worms opened?

I looked into this a while ago, and concluded that at the moment it's worth getting phone/broadband/BB from the same supplier if you can, as they all offer discounts if you do that.

So in your case, I'd look at either switching your BB to Sky, or ditching Sky and going with BT TV. I think the BT option will be quite a bit cheaper, but their TV offering isn't as good as Sky, so it depends a lot on how much you use the non-free channels.

Even if you don't really want to switch, tell Sky you want to go to BT and see what they offer...

Agree with outnumbered. I have just ditched TV, broadband and phone with Sky to go to BT infinity. Sky cost about £75 per month all in and BT is £27.99. I do not get TV but rarely watch Sky channels so will buy a Freesat PVR and sell the Sky kit on eBay.

I've just had BT installed. Was either that, Sky or something else plus Freeview.

BT is costing £42/month for 40MB, plus the HD TV package. Having come from Virgin, I'd say that the internet is OK, but does seem to have some kind of programmed in "you should have gone for the 78MB option" artificial delay in it when loading pages. Streaming seems fine.

The TV has everything I want bar Sky Atlantic, and initial impressions are the picture quality is better than Virgin. I'm not sure if this is common, or whether my TiVo wasn't set up right.

Sky's options just baffled me, and I gave up trying to work out what gave me what I wanted.

A week of freeview was enough to convince me to get something over and above this.
