What home cinema amp?

I need a new home cinema amp as our TV has optical out, and the amp has no optical in. I have a converter but its a bit crap.

I have a budget of about £300, so what are the must have features on a modern amp?

I've got that one, and couldn't agree more. For the money it's well worth it. That was £400 a couple of months ago (typically when I bought mine)
