Panasonic GT50, dreaded 7 blink led

3 year old Panasonic GT50 TV turned off automatically followed by the 7 blink of death led flash, won't work at all now

Need TV quickly so any fast fix or just buy another, if so which one?

There was pretty much always a promotion for 5 or 6 year warranty with Panasonic Plasmas. They replaced my 5 year old G10 with a new LCD (which is admittedly pretty rubbish compared) so do you not still have warranty? They're actually very good.

The only way you'll get a better picture than your Plasma is to go with OLED.

Cheers digitalise, pretty sure it only came with a 12 month warranty.

Googling shows it's likely to be right hand side sc board failure, fixable but time consuming and I live a long way from anywhere/anyone that can do what's needed.

I'm going for surgery next week and will be laid up at home for a while so I need a quick fix, I'll start a 'which tv' thread.
