Sonos Dock - how do I add it to my system?
Discussion
Bought a second hand Dock - all parts seem present and correct. Instructions to add it to my system say I should select the Add Player or Sub option, which I've tried.
The problem arises when you get to the next stage, you select what product you are adding. There was no option for adding a Dock. All the other players are listed.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Could you possibly explain the setup procedure? The downloaded instructions advised me to add it as a new Player or Sub. When I did, there's an instruction to wait until the flashing white light goes green, which it never does, then to press the "pairing" button. The software on my Android phone then presents me with a list of players but not the Dock itself. I don't know what to do next.
Appreciate any advice.

Well, to round this off, I reset the Dock (switched it on at the plug whilst holding down the "connect" button until a red/brown LED showed) and then went through the joining sequence. There still was no option to select a Dock in the menu so I selected a Play:1. The software picked up on the fact that it was a Dock however and it joined my system.
All good... except our iPod isn't compatible with the Dock. I had to laugh. Good job it was cheap. It'll work with my mother's iPod though so I'll give it to her to encourage her into Sonos ownership.
Merry Christmas.
