Currently have a Logitec Harmony 600 to control Panasonic smart TV, Humax PVR/Freeview, Pioneer DVD, Pioneer Amp. It's always been okay but not brilliant'
Sometime we always use the amp, but sometimes watch smart TV and sometime freeview via the Humax or DVDs
It's starting to die, what should we replace it with? I hate anything to complicated/expensive.

I've had a Logitech harmony one for the last 7 years and it's been brilliant. They are discontinued now, but I bought my in laws a Logitech 650 this weekend and that worked just as well.
If you've set up a harmony before they are super simple to get going - took me c.30 mins to set up for their TV, sky, Soundbar and DVD player.
You can assign shortcut buttons to navigate smart features.
Pretty good value for £60.

Harmony Smart Control for £70.
The remote itself is a small and basic device, all the fancy stuff happens inside the hub/blaster.
Battery life of the handset is very good, as it has no display or IR.
Having the IR bits in the hub means you dont't have to point the handset at the equipment, so much less chance of anything getting out of sync.
I've tried all sorts of remotes, including several Harmony and Pronto models, and the Smart Control is easily the best.

This looks like a good option, a tad pricy though. The remote itself is a small and basic device, all the fancy stuff happens inside the hub/blaster.
