Old Benq MP515 I currently use in my classroom. The dead pixels appear to be multiplying...

Assume it's a board not a lamp issue and is it likely to be sortable?

Looks like the DLP chip is on its way out. You'll have to replace I'm afraid

Thanks, thought it might be... New one on order : ) I don't think the hot temperatures here combined with it being moved around a lot do it any good, but it's pretty old anyway...
