Since joining the single fraternity, I obviously can only watch one tv at once.
I have Sky Multi-room for watching movies in bed, but I think multiroom is now pointless in my case.
What's my best option.
I'd still like to be able to watch Sky in the bedroom, and I like the on-demand movies, but I guess I have no way of keeping those if I go down the "sender" route?

The AV Sender should loose your movie downloads if your sending your primary sky box up to the bedroom tv.

All you're doing is repeating what the downstairs box is showing.

Does that make sense?

Buy one of THESE NEET HDMI over Cat 6 pairs. Comes with IR control, so you can control your sky box downstairs whilst sitting in bed. Works a treat - I have been using this setup for a few months now.

Or get a slingbox and watch on your tablet anywhere in the world? I'm overseas and watching on a TV using HDMI out from my iPad

Except last time I looked, slingbox required component input to get around the HDCP copy protection? Since the SkY HD box doesn't have component out, you would either need an HDMI to component converter, or use the composite out from the Sky box and get SD only.

If you are only watching TV upstairs & not in another country, the NEET converter is cheaper & full HD.
