Hi
Just bought a Fire Stick for sons bedroom TV (rather than the indoor aerial idea).
I set a PIN for parental control as I don't want him buying films or accessing adult TV, only added BBC, ITV, C4 & C5 at the moment.
Trouble is when I go to "Home" Page and select one of the above apps from "Recent viewed", to watch I need to put in the PIN again.
Am I doing this wrong? Can I access the chosen Apps without a PIN while still maintaining a security PIN?
Thanks

I'd like to know the answer too - it seems the PIN is all or nothing!

I decided the pin is more hassle than it's worth, just disassociate any payment method with the account, that way i don't think purchases can be made.

You can change settings on your Amazon account (rather than the FireStick) so that you need a PIN code if you try to purchase anything. I found it out by accident when I "bought" something I thought was free viewing on Prime. Because I hadn't viewed it I was able to cancel it and get a refund - and the confirmation email kindly explained how I could avoid this happening in future.

On Amazon, go to your video settings and enable PIN on Purchase.

It's in Settings.
I did loads more googling, got no where, then asked a colleague at work.....
You can set the pin to cover purchases but leave free access to the apps you've set.

Thanks
