I have a Zeppelin in one room (c5yrs old) which runs off a docked iPad (it does have Airplay but not reliable) and Spotify.

I have just purchased a Naim Muso, which is brilliant, and is in another room. This runs over the wifi from an iPhone with Spotify.

Is there any way I can mirror the sound across the two units? From Spotify I currently have to choose either the Zeppelin or the Muso and can only switch between the two.

Many thanks!

I'm in a similar boat. I want to add a couple of small wireless speakers in a stereo pair, so looked at getting some Sonos play 1,s and a Sonos connect , but the Sonos connect is very expensive for what it does ! I've also looked at some chrome cast audio units but I do t think they work well on apple iOS which is what I mainly have!

Not sure if it will work as they are different brands but I've never tried! That said, I run an ND5 XS in the sitting room and a Mu-so Qb in the kitchen using the Naim app and Tidal. When running either you have the option to share with the other and when I connected the Qb to the network I added it as a 'speaker' over the network through my iPhone. If yours is attached to the same network the Naim app might be able to see it? Not entirely convinced to be honest but might be worth a look.

In theory a cheap option should be to use the WHAALE app as you can connect to multiple airplay speakers at the same time, and synchronise them but I can't get it to work with the naim , the sound gets chopped up and distorted, so that was £8 wasted ! What I really want is naim to introduce a mini QB equivalent to the play1 and support a stereo pair but I can't see that happening

I have been using airplay for a fair few years on apple airport express units connected to speakers, and have recently bought a Naim Muso (excellent). The only way I have found to play music on multiple units at the same time is either to use iTunes on my laptop (supports multiple units) or with Spotify and a third party program called airfoil. It's a shame apple haven't brought the capability to iPhone yet as I'm quite certain android supports it...

Hi,

I've been using Google's Chromecast Audio's for a while now. I buy them cheap off ebay and add them to existing Hi Fi dotted around the house. The app works both with my Android phone and my wives Iphone. It'll work with Spotify and allow you to stream audio to multiple devices over your wifi. Amazing cheap bit of kit that is perfect until I can maybe go down the Sonos route.... Just Google Chromecast audio.
