Projector screen on the cheap
Discussion
Hi all,
After the last help on here has produced a surprisingly good result I'm after some more wise words from you clever people
We are trying to get back into movies, I have a small projector I bought a few months back which after testing on the bare wall I was quite impressed with.

I'm very happy with the sound set up but after being let down with a Homegear 120" 16:9 screen (damaged upon delivery) I'm wondering if a cheaper way to have a screen is worthwhile?
We are hoping that having a more dedicated room to watch movies will have us putting the effort in. We used to watch a lot but since the kids arrive end up just watching 8 out of 10 cats or similar and going to bed
So, as the screen can't be displayed permanently and there are 2 pictures which can't be moved on the viewing wall is a screen you can pack away worth using?
If we get some good use out of it I'll get a better projector and better screen in the future.
The screen size is dictated by the projector position which is fixed, producing a 120" 16:9 picture.
Dave!

If you go for one that you have to physically pack away, I wouldnt bother, the faff means you wouldnt use it.
I would go for a a pull down screen you could attach to the wall or ceiling and then pull it down when you need it. Ultimately you would fit an electric one and automate the process, but for trialing you dont need that cost.
Have a look at these guys for well respected manual screens, but others are available. http://www.intoav.com/
