Is POE the same as Cat6 ? - CCTV expert?

Dumb question to doubt!

When I do the AV install are the CCTV cables different to the Cat6 cables I will run?

Can anyone remember the name of the regular PH CCTV/security expert?

Nope, no difference between the Ethernet cable used for IP CCTv and standard Networking.

However we usually 'hide' the Network Video Recorder somewhere other than the main hub. If people come in with a purpose then they will look for the NVR and still that as well.

Usually in a loft or bedroom somewhere with an Ethernet connection down to the hub.
