Lovely
Can you pick up Moscow Paris and Luxembourg on it?
Switch it on 5 minutes before and keep the room warm in winter.

Pfft. Get with the program Grandad, that radio has transistors!

hippy

That must have been a seriously expensive piece of kit when it was released.

That looks great.

I love vintage audio, particularly kit from the 1970s.

It definitely has a different sound to my 'other' audio, very rounded and mellow - I would have loved to listen to Wogan on it. I have a Ruark R4i which has a much cleaner/ crisper sound but ultimately sounds more 'engineered'. Hard to describe it but I like it...... (PS - can you tell I am not an audiophile? smile )

I have ordered a 5 pin DIN to 3.5mm audio jack cable so it will be interesting to hear how an ipod (more modern source) will sound through it.

Just need to work out why the record deck has failed - but not a major concern as I have only two pieces of vinyl left.
