Recommendations for 50 inch 1080p LCD HDTV £400 budget

As per title, we are on the lookout and would appreciate recommendations for a new 50 inch (ish) 1080p LCD HDTV, for up to £400. Has to be a good brand, Sony, Toshiba etc as I want a good number years out of it. My 34 inch Toshiba is 8-9 years old and going well, just a bit too small! It replaced a set I had from new in the late 90's so apologies if my TV knowledge is a tad out of touch! Will be used primarily for console gaming and streaming via Chromecast, we don't really watch TV channels as such either.

Not bothered about 4k or Ultra HD etc, as I doubt our budget is anywhere near sufficient for a good brand, and as it stands it isn't a requirement for any current games console etc to have it. Thanks!
