Repair ue55ks8000 or replace with new 55mu8000

Hello, im looking for some advice.
I recently bought a Samsung ks8000. Unfortunately the screen is faulty. The shop I bought it from no longer have that tv in stock. The TV comes with a 5 year warranty.
My options seem to be either get the tv repaired which would involve a new screen getting fitted, or replace tv with a like for like model. I assume that would be the mu8000.
I've looked at some reviews and the mu8000 doesn't appear to be as good, although because it's just out, its a couple of hundred pounds dearer.
So my dilemma is, repair current tv or get a new one, which may or may not have the same spec.
