Basically I've had this plasma tv since 2010 and it has a built in hard drive to pause live tv or set as a pvr accordingly.
The screen works without fault but after a couple of minutes powered on the remote won't control it or the side mounted tv control buttons. The tv will happily carry on screening the current tv channel. Turn it off at the main power switch and it works for a couple of minutes then gets stuck on what ever channel it's been left on.
I think it needs a software update but I don't know how or anyone to do this.
Any pointers I would really appreciate it
