TV Connections and ARC HDMI

A simple question that I can't seem to find the answer to, if anyone can assist ?

I want to connect the following devices to my TV....

HDMI 1 - Sky Box
HDMI2 - Droid Box
HDMI 3 (ARC) - Cinema (DVD home cinema all in one with 1 HDMI connection, ARC compatible)

When watching Sky or the Droid box will the TV output the sound through the HDMI 3 to the Cinema (dvd) system ??

Any reference to ARC I have read shows connecting all devices to the cinema system which I can't do. Can I use the TV to connect the multiple devices instead ?

It does on my Panasonic but it may depend on the manufacturer. Only way to be certain is to try it and find out.
