New - 'all in one speaker' - does it exist?
Discussion
Hi all,
Just got myself a new tv for the kitchen diner, nothing fancy 32inch Samsung jobber.
The wife wants a music speaker in the room and I'm now thinking does someone make a speaker that will link to the tv and provide extra audio for the tv?
So in dream land it needs to:
Connect to the tv - to play tv audio
Be wireless
Stream Amazon prime music
Look half decent
I've got a sonos play 1 in the living room which I use to stream music, but if im correct doesn't connect to a tv???
Any ideas greatfully recieved

I have a Denon Heos Homecinema for the TV in the bedroom, connects to the TV and plays my music through Spotify Connect or the Heos app (presumably Amazon music also works). Richer Sounds had it on offer at a bargain £300, the Sonos Soundbar and Sub is 3-4x as much and definitely not 3-4x as good.

That would be an option but music stops when you receive calls and texts etc....so not ideal. Would prefer streaming to be supported.
Maybe I'm just asking too much and Bluetooth could be the best option.
Or use a Chromecast audio? They're occasionally on offer for £15 so won't break the bank.Maybe I'm just asking too much and Bluetooth could be the best option.
Edit: Just saw the requirement for streaming Amazon audio. Not sure if this is supported by the Chromecast. I use Spotify on mine.

what does support Amazon music ? i would guess a firestick, use the output from a the TV (optical) into a sound bar (of some description) and that should work, Amazon music doesnt seem to be we supported, unlike spoity connect which is everywhere now (and work great)
That's a good idea, turns your TV into a smart TV and can be powered from the USB port on the telly too. Gassing Station | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
