Sonos repairs?

After many years, one of my Sonos units has failed. A Sonos 'Connect'.

It is receiving power (the empty ethernet sockets are flashing) however there are no lights on the front, it's not being seen by the system and can't be be made to connect.

So I'm wondering about a repair rather than renewal. Anyone had a Sonos unit repaired?

I sent back a couple of Sonos controllers as they both had the dreaded dead touch screens. Service was impeccable and they were 4 years old. Replaced FOC and all packaging sent for the return.

I would have said the same.

Contact Sonos, they will be able to try a few things remotely first and then sort you out with either an FOC replacement or a discounted reconditioned one.

I don't think Sonos will be able to do anything remotely as the Connect is dead and not talking to the system.

Flashing yellow Ethernet means there is network traffic. So they'll get you to unplug everything and start plugging devices in individually first, assuming that your router has had a moment and the problem is your network, not the physical box (and 99 times out of 100 they'd be right) ... have you tried that?

Have you done the factory default reset, cant remember what buttons, but you hold in 2 of the buttons while powering it up and keep them held in until the light flashes. That has recovered a few unresponsive amps for me.

Yes factory reset attempted... the flashing Ethernet ports show that power is being received somewhere.
