WDTV Live & Seagate Personal Cloud

Afternoon all

Does anyone know if the above 2 items are compatable?

I`m currently streaming from my laptop to the WDTV Live, which works fine, but am looking to increase and centralise storage.

I stupidly purchased a 4TB Seagate external hard drive, before discovering that the WD won`t see anything over 2TB attached via USB.

Thinking the above may be my answer? Plug the Seagate Personal Cloud into my router and pick it up via the WD.

Only concern is they don`t list the WD as a compatable device?

Does anyone have this set up and know if it will work?

Just split the Segate into x2 2TB partitions

Right click the start menu and select 'Disk manager'
