Hi all.
Looking for a decent 5.1 setup with bookshelf speakers for the living room setup. Budget is £800. Looking at the Dali pico 5.1 as an option. Smaller than most I have seen but I've not heard them and they ain't the most prettiest. Another contender is the Q acoustics 7000plus. Smaller again with good reviews.
I saw a nice Monitor Audio setup in RS but it cost twice as much.

It's to complement:
LG 55B7V tv
Sony STRDN1080 receiver
Cambridge ceiling speakers

Any recommendations?

I got a tannoy 101xp set to go with my denon amp (https://www.richersounds.com/tannoy-hts101xp-blk.html)

Well within your budget - its my 1st 5.1 set so cannot compare them to anything I have had in the house, but during the demo with RS the quality / £ ratio was really good compared to others. I also got them because of the size of the speakers and Sub being slimmer / smaller than most but still putting out decent sound.

The Monitor Audio Radius and Mass ranges get very good write ups, so worth a look.

What were you planning to use the Cambridge Audio In-Ceilings for?

Some good deals on that website, defiantly worth a good look cheers.

Since the receiver is atmos ready was going too make it a 5.1.2 setup, bit of futureproofing.

Worth a visit to their shop if you're remotely close. They're always more than happy to demo anything you're interested in.

Settling on the Q acoustics 3000 but will upgrade the speakers to the 3020 ones. Can always add a second sub if need be but see how it goes.

I'm using a pair of MA radius 90's as fronts with a BK Sub, they were being used as Rears but with MA RS6's as fronts but after a bit of downsizing they actually work really well. They lack the warmth and overall scale of the RS6's but they punch well above there weight.

Has anyone tried the q7000i? Really like the compact nature of them but worried they will sound slightly tinny due to small size, although the reviews seem very good.
