Hi
I have a good download speed of 30 mps and wifi connection to my tv however when utslisong the tv to play Netflix it just keeps buffering and pausing the film making it unwatchable.
Is this an issue with the tv and would I be best buy something like roku to control Netflix instead?
If so which is the best 'black box' to get, only want to watch Netflix and iPlayer etc
Thansk

Can't help but I only have a 10mbps connection and have no buffering or other issues at all. This is with a LAN cable though so maybe the issue is your WiFi?

Can you stream the netflix show on any tablet phone at all.

30Mbs is more then enough however if the ping time is too great then 30mbs is no better then 1mb.

AppleTV is good for netflix as well as most amazon devices.

I think the wifi should be ok as the 30mps was taken from a test on my iPad , but I'm no expert for sure

Given you have an iPad try installing the netflix app and playing it on there. If it works then there is possible problem with the TV and its wireless chip.

With regard to getting the picture to the TV get an apple tv as it not only has Netflix on it, you can send anything from your iPad to the screen wirelessly.

Thansk for that, my iPad worked perfectly no issues, I assume it's the built in computer in the tv being rubbish.
So looks like Apple TV or a fire stick, it's actually for my father so I might get him a fire stick.
Thanks

I had the same problem with a Samsung 22" TV on WiFi.

It just buffers repeatedly.

I only resolved it by installing a Ubiquiti Wi-Fi system which drastically improved the WiFi, despite the fact that my iPad and computer would stream it fine wirelessly on the old WiFi, the TV just wasn't good enough until the improved WiFi.

Now works fine, never buffers.

+1 OP try testing it by connecting to the modem and seeing if it makes a difference.
