Likelihood of a Playbar/playbase update?
Discussion
Subject says it all really. I’m in the market for a bar or base, preferably a bar, but given the bar is a few years old and Sonos has just released the new ‘One’, am I better off waiting to see if there’s a bar update?
Has anybody read/heard any rumours about a bar update?
Thanks in advance.

Just to finish this thread off, I went for a Playbase which has now been in place for a fortnight. To be honest the sound has blown me away, I couldn't be happier. My old surround is now at the charity shop and this has taken its place completely. I'm really glad I didn't go for the Sub as well, as it's really not needed in the size of living room we have (3 bed semi-detached house), the Playbase is capable of such incredible bass and range!
Trueplay has sharpened up the sound distribution (yes it's noticeable), and all in all it's made me enjoy a lot of viewing again. The build quality of it is also superb, it feels solid and purposful.
I've read 'the internet' say the Playbase is all you ever need, and I was sceptical, but I now fully concur, it's a superb piece of kit. If you're thinking about getting one, then my advice is to do it.

Yes I am really impressed with mine, went for the Sub too as got an offer of 15% off from Sonos and it does add to the experience, they do feel like they will last forever too.Trueplay has sharpened up the sound distribution (yes it's noticeable), and all in all it's made me enjoy a lot of viewing again.
