Acram AVR200 - SUB - HELP

Hi All,

Just picked up the above amp, sounds really nice, its a few years old but still sounds great.

I can't however get the sub to work?

I have connected the sub pre-out and tried 2 different subs but no luck.

The manual talks about on screen displays which you connect to your TV to change settings but I have no TV yet !!

HELP.

To change most of the settings, you need to see the on-screen display I think (been ages since I have seen a 200). I'd imagine it's set to "no sub" at the moment and the speaker sizes are set to large. Not much you can do until you connect it to a screen!

I love Arcam stuff (I have an AVR850)

Edited to add you will need a screen with a composite input - quite tough to find these days!

I've still got an AVR200 that gets used everyday as a stereo amp.
I'll hook up a video cable a bit later and see if the combination of button presses is easy enough to replicate. I doubt it but it's worth a go.
