Got mine last week, so far very impressed with the sound.

I'm reading that some people have had problems / returned their units.

Any other PHers using the Sky Soundbox? Any issues?

I think it's actually quite a good make, but you do wonder about the full retail price.

I was tempted (especially at the sky customer price), but the RRP claims, ergonomics (its tall and dumpy), where it’s made, and the lacking bass ability in the reviews, all had me question what corners had been cut.

In the end I went for a Sonos Playbase.

It is made by a high end speaker and streamer manufacturer.

Or at least it was designed by them.

Or at the very least it wears their badge.

It should, on paper be very good.

Does it fully integrate with the sky remote? Turn on/off/up/down ect?

I was interested in one of these but I’m kinda put off now doesn’t seem as user friendly as it’s supposed to be.

I think the broad consensus is that for £249 it's a great speaker box, for the full retail it is very overpriced.

I seem to be lucky that it's working as it should be and sounding pretty good. I may be in a minority...

i've got one through the staff deal. It's very good for what it is. But it is ugly.
