Unfamiliar with the Kenwood (is it an AV amp?) but those speakers are good.

The whole 75X range are well regarded and the 754 in particular are still used on the end of quality gear in many homes.

The 752 will work in a garage but they deserve somewhere better.

Guessing that was a fine sounding setup 20 years ago - I had 751s donkeys years ago, chunky and heavy and great sounding then moved on to the 753Fs (they looked like huge things in the promo literature - IRL they were small, neat floorstanders). I spent a few years later looking for 754 Freedom 5s but rarely came up for sale and, when they did, always around 80% of rrp!

If you can find a use for them I'd hang on to them - I've got numerous amps and speakers in the garage that are far too good to dump but no one seems to appreciate how good old speakers can sound - going to wire in a pair of AE109 this afternoon - similar size to the 752s and I can't believe things like this are being dumped in favour of £100 plastic soundbars. Madness but fashion takes no prisoners I suppose.

Can you believe someone getting rid of Jamo Concert 8s in favour of that Sky soundbar??!

Maybe it's my age but I'd rather forgo a little sound for the look of some decent old style speakers. I dug out my old Nakamichi Amplifier 2 the other day and found these Mordaunt-Short floor standers on FaceBook for £50!

When I had my home cinema setup up, I had a 75 series 5.1 setup (752, 75C centre, 751 rear, 75as subwoofer) and I think it sounded great. The sub isn't great by modern standards but the clarity and precision from the rest of the speakers, especially the centre, makes listening to films a joy. Picked the whole lot up for £500 or so, may get a pair of 754 freedom 5's (top of the 75 range) when I set it all back up again.

Have been, would be great to go back. Those look really nice, in Rosewood too like the rest of my set...

Admittedly they are from the range below the 752's, but I bought some 733i's when they were new, and they are still performing sterling service in my AV set up. Don't even need a sub to enjoy movies and music properly, just a modern Yamaha AV amp and the 733i's.

My 753Fs were in that finish too - really nicely finished. Got them new as end of line years ago, used them for 3 years then p/ex'd them for £30 less than I paid for them. The 75X range are really good.
