Record player recommendation needed

£150 will get you a decent budget turntable.

You'll still need a stereo amp (with a phono stage), speakers and CD player (if you want one). You will get a lot more for your money getting these components second hand.

Something similar to this, an older set of separates that you can replace and sell on as budget allows?
for your budget, I think you'll struggle to get anything new that sounds any good with all your requirements for £150
Bluetooth can be added with something like this https://www.johnlewis.com/logitech-bluetooth-audio...
Or chromecast audio https://www.maplin.co.uk/p/google-chromecast-audio...

Don't be tempted by any of the cheap offerings from the likes of Crosley. They sound terrible and from what I understand are a great way to damage your records.
You budget is really tight. If you want to buy new, I'd recommend a Teac TN100. It seems to be pretty good for the money and importantly has a built in phono stage, this means you won't have to buy one separately which is often the case with turntables. Secondly, I'd probably buy a set of speakers from the likes of Logitech. They're cheap, sound okay and don't need a separate amplifier.

If you can up your budget to £300. The following equipment is pretty decent for the money, it also gives you the option to upgrade in the future:
Turntable: https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/turntables/proj...
Phono stage: https://www.richersounds.com/btech-mm-phono-pre-am...
Amp: https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/amplifiers-rece...
Speakers: https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/standmount-spea...
Used equipment is an option, but you need to buy carefully.

For the full-on vinyl experience, you need one of these.

Those Wharfedales are tiny, and far more suited to rear speakers in a surround system - but in the absence of no speakers at all....
That's true, I had the Wharfedale 9.1 in mind when recommending these. Richer Sounds do have the Q Acoustic 2020I for only £79 which would be a good buy, but blow the budget further.Username... said:

Agree, the 9.1 is a brilliant speaker, and were a real bargain when dealers were selling them for ~ £90 a couple of years ago.In fact I see that Superfi still do them for £90!
Breaks the OPs budget of course, but then the romance of vinyl isn't cheap these days...

Oh no, not again....That must be the 200th time reel to reel has experienced a resurgence..
A while back I saw some journalist trying to rekindle the romance of cassettes in HiFi world...
Pro-Ject Primary has to be worth a look.
I don't understand the whole USB turntable thing. The whole point of vinyl is that it's not digital so why spend a load of time ripping vinyl to MP3 / FLAC when a few quid a month on Spotify will give you the same thing.
I went for Pro-Ject Essential 3 and now need a new amp, and speakers. And cables. And probably a load of other stuff
