Hi all,

I'm looking for a little advice. I did have a quick Google, but couldn't find anything conclusive so thought I would seek advice from the learned masses.

I have an LG smart TV in the bedroom. I've recently shuffled some things around downstairs, which included moving the router. I'm now noticing that the signal in the bedroom isn't as good as it once was, and get slight buffering from time to time. I have bought a WiFi adapter plug type thing, and plugged that in to the hall socket. This has helped, but was wondering if there is anything that I can plug into the TV itself to help things, rather than relying on the TV's antenna/gain itself? Running a LAN to the TV is a last resort.

Thanks in advance.

You can buy powerline adapters with an Ethernet out which you could connect to your TV.

The TP-Link WR-802N will work for that, even better with OpenWRT installed

Yep, powerline adaptor works well. I use one on my smart TV to ensure any streaming (especially HD / UHD) works fine.

Great, thanks for the replies. I guess I'll need to be looking at the power line adapters.
