Onkyo 605 stuck on source

My Onkyo 605 is stuck on Game/TV when you turn it on. Non of the other buttons work, volume etc doesn't work. Nothing. I've tried a factory reset of holding the VCR/DVD button and pressing power, but nothing. Anything else or in the bin? Bit annoying as this hasn't had much use over the years and wasn't cheap.
If you haven't already done so, I'd remove power to it completely, and then try again. However, it could well be one of the boards inside the unit has failed.
Sadly, it's at the age were it likely to be beyond the point where it past the point it's worth fixing - I've just replaced a 607 that was gradually failing at 7-8 years old, and I'm still reluctant to take it to the tip.

It's working now, the tone button was stuck in! I used it a fair bit when I had it around 2008 then its been sat unplugged for the past 7 years. Maybe that didnt do it too good. Ive only set it back up as the last time I used it, it kept tripping off when any large amount of volume was played through it. il test it today and if it is still doing it then head down Richersounds and pick something new up.
