My boss managed to give her other half's old speakers to charity, but he recently started talking about them. She thinks they are 7+ years old. Isn't sure how valuable they are. Apparently they are an upside down triangle shape and on stands. I've been searching but can't figure out what they could be - any audiophiles on here able to hazard a guess?

Castle did an inversion range but it probably wasn't these - far longer than 7 years and their shape was trapezoidal, a pyramid with the peak chopped off then turned upside down.

Spica made some odd shaped speakers.

A quick Google didn't show up much else, other than a couple of models made by Swan with an inverted triangular faceplate.

She has confirmed it was the Mordaunt Short Genies. £120 for a pair with stands on ebay. They have recently invested in a Sonos one and she is considering getting a second Sonos one and I advised she can configure as a stereo pair. Any thoughts on how a modern day Sonos one would compare against these speakers for music ?
