Sennheiser Momentum 2 Wireless vs B&W PX
Discussion
So my iPhone 6 is having its battery swapped out this week, which should give it a good bit more lifespan, but the headphone jack is also becoming borked on it which is annoying. None of the latest crop of phones really excite me enough to splurge £600+ on one, so the switch to a new set of wireless headphones seems to be the logical choice!
Hopefully going to test both the Sennheiser and the new B&W offering on Monday, hopefully I'll be able to give them a good test back to back in John Lewis, but just wondering if anyone has any experience of either beforehand? They both obviously have 5 star reviews, and I think they are the closest matched, be interesting to see which one to go for.
Or any other offerings I have overlooked, I know the Bose option is also there, just the Sennheiser and B&W product just look better!

I haven't tried the Sennheisers, but I have the PX and think they are great with one caveat - I don't like the ANC implementation.
If you are happy using the PX with only the passive isolation, I think that they are one of the best sounding headphones around, but as soon as you turn the ANC on the higher modes, that sound quality is really degraded. This is acknowledged in the manual (only use ANC when necessary as best sound quality is realised without it on), but the sound quality with it switched on is nothing like a £300 headphone should be.
I have used Bose QC35 as well. They isolate sound much better than the PX with the ANC on, and the sound quality is not significantly degraded when you turn it on.
The PX sounds much better than the Bose with ANC off, but that is not how everyone is going to want to use them.
I tried the B&W PX, the Bose QC35 and the Sony WH-1000XM2's.
PX were incredibly uncomfortable to me - sounded nice but in an audiophile way, a bit flat to my ears and a tad dull.
Bose were very comfortable, great noise cancelling, decent sound but the usual Bose, not quite nice enough.
The Sony's were somewhere in between - comfortable, v good noise cancelling, very nice sounding.
I went into John Lewis expecting to buy the B&W, but you just have to see what floats your boat - I just "enjoyed" the Sony's more as soon as I put them on and pressed play, so that's what I bought.
Very nice sound, great battery life, no Bluetooth issues whatsoever, very highly recommended by me :-)

So I went, and tested, Kingston, I definitely get what you are saying about the PX and the ANC, but I think they had the best sound for me anyway, the Momentums were second, and the Sony third, luckily they were all next to each other in John Lewis.
I didn't buy any though, I have to be honest between all 3, even though I think I have placed them in positions, it was so damn close between them, all 3 are quality, and long term I don't think you'd be disappointed if you owned any of them!
This will need a second visit!
