Hi Guys,
Any thoughts on these?
A little while ago I bought a receiver off a guy at work to handle switching between HDMI sources etc... with a view to adding speakers at a later date.
Work have given me a hundred quid in online vouchers, so I'm thinking that this might be the ideal opportunity to make the purchase.
I'm aware that they've been replaced by the Eclipse 3, hence the price?
I'm not an AV guy per se, but I am a musician, so like to think I know a good sound when I hear one... either that or my ears are shot to pieces so it won't matter.
The setup will be used mainly for TV/Films, but I recently got a record player, so it'd be lovely to hear that through some decent speakers.
Currently the TV/Film speaker setup is whatever is in the back of the TV!
As for alternatives, I don't really want to spend more than the vouchers, and the stipulation is that they must be available through Amazon!
