Hi, I still have a Technics full size stereo that I bought in the late 80's comprising record player, tuner, tape deck, CD player, amp & speakers. I think I still have the original instructions & boxes in the loft, it hasn't really been used for a few years but I just wondered if it is worth me trying to sell it ? Are these old stereos worth anything ?
Regards Phil.

So cool. I wouldn't be selling, I'd be setting it up and using it.

That's exactly what I've had to bin recently cos the amp developed a buzz on one channel which I didn't try to repair. I though I'd get an all new system with media straming etc and it'd be far better. So £2k later I now have a mainly Cambridge Audio setup which drives me nuts because it takes an age to actually get any sound out of it cos it's gotta boot up. Gone are the days when buttons and dials were labelled properly. The app only works when it feels like it and it doesn't interconnect in the seamless manner the Technics system did. It sounds "different" to the Technics system, is it better? Hmmm.

If yours still works then enjoy it, it's decent stuff that just works properly.
