New Sqy Q remote

Does anyone have one of these? I’m referring to the new Sky Q remote with touch sensitive roundel and voice control.
The voice control is a great addition HOWEVER the touch sensitive part is the biggest waste of time and annoyance I’ve ever had to use, you literally have to fart in the next room and it starts rewinding what you are currently watching. I pick up the remote like it’s a newborn baby not to agrevate the thing.
Surely a company like sky must have tested the things to see if they were any good before bringing them to market?

I may have to get onto eBay to source one of the old ones. Rant over

go into settings, remote I think and select the second option.

With the latest Sky Q remote you can certainly turn it off.
