Looking for a new light for the dinning room,

This is my choice but website says non dimmable...

https://www.diy.com/departments/carmenta-chrome-ef...

Any electric experts able to explain why.... 6 bulbs at 40watts is only 240watts.. Dimmable switches are rated at 400 Watts... So why is it not suitable.?

Is it supplied with non-dimmable LED G9 bulbs?

I’d assume that, since it’s not supplied with any bulbs, the default website choice is made of non-dimmable.

I’m sure you’ve noticed that the frequently bought together bit are dimmable bulbs?

Thanks.. Yes quite possibly right... So from an electrical point of view there's no reason why not to be dimmable
