Thoughts on this setup please.
Discussion
Currently planning a setup for home and would appreciate thoughts on this setup, bear with me though as i’m Not particularly tech savvy as may
well become apparent.
I’ve already done a deal on the tv and the the audio which is as follows.
LG 55 Oled B7 and Kef T105 speaker package.
This is all for my front room, ( small at 5m by 3.5m.)
I will also be getting an avr which I have never had before and at the mo it’s looking like the Denon avr x-1500 h. This could possibly change as by the time I am ready to take the plunge the guy at the shop said there may be some new Yamaha units on the market that are worth considering.
For me the system is all about the front room for now as that’s where I will do everything the system is for.
I understand the Denon has HEOS and if i’ve Understood it right, that’s aimed at as a multiroom function? Like I say all new and a bit baffling at times to me. Although I may not initially get use of the HEOS that’s not to say that it may not come in handy in the future.
I explained to the guy in store that this is a big thing for me and i’d like to get it right.
Ultimately I want a great 4K tv, that combined with the audio will give a great overall package, (for my budget) for tv, Blu Ray and gaming’on either PS4 or Xbox 1x, still undecided.
The other thing is music. I’m a big music fan and currently all my music is stored in my IPhone. I’m sure there may be better ways of doing things but think and hope? that the above setup is more than upto the job for me to immerse
Myself into my music when swmbo is out doing girly things
The store I am dealing with are an independent and have been going for over 40’years. Their reviews are 1st class and the guy I dealt with in store was 1st class imo.
Once i’m ready for this to happen they will also be doing the full install for me split over 2 different days to fit in with all the work that will be happening at home.
Thoughts please?

TV choice is spot on. Speaker choice is fine for movies and a worthwhile upgrade over the TV's audio.
Re. the amp personally I'd pick up a AVRX2400 for less money.

If you're into stereo there are better choices for less money than those speakers.
I've got this set-up, great for movies and brilliant for 2 channel stuff. Currently a bit of a billy bargain too!

Review of the stereo pair.

Thanks.
That’s some difference price wise on the 2400 as opposed to the 1500, and for me who isn’t particularly clued up they look like the same system pretty much?
I looked at the speaker link, looks great and very tempting price wise, the problem for me is I am trying to get what I want whilst keeping swmbo happy.
She really liked the design and subtlety of the Kef system and I was more than impressed with the sound when we had the demo in store.
Certainly food for thought on the avr choice though.

2400 (and the 1400) are the 2017 models (1500 and 2500 have just launched). No real changes worth noting.https://www.whathifi.com/denon/avr-x2400h/review
If you go onto Denon's site you can compare the specs of all three.
