Hi I have the chance to purchase one of these at a good price. Anyone got one or know someone who has and can let me know what they think? Sound good, does it work well and connect easily? Thanks in advance

Use them all the time.
Sounds great for the size.
Naim app can be a bit flaky, but usually works well.
Remember to claim the three months free Tidal if they still offer it - save you another £60.

Mine wakes me up every morning. Room filling sound, physically a heavy unit, app as stated isn't the best but it does work. 10/10 in my books.

It’s depends on your expectations but I don’t feel they fully meet their brief.

Whilst they perform well, they do sound ‘shut in’, particularly after longer periods of listening. That really grated on me so I opted for the standard Mu-so which is an excellent unit. Fluid, articulate and has very impressive bass extension whilst retaining clarity in the mid and upper regardless of source.

The app can be problematic and it appears to subscribe to the vintage car ethos of the more regular you use it, the better it is.

I'm slightly disappointed with ours. Sounds too tight and despite frequent use, hasn't really freed up.

Had a lot of connection issues, but updating the firmware might have fixed that.

I'm tempted to try the HomePod as an alternative. Or Sonos?

I never used the App on my muso , i used Spotify and it has Spotify connect built in , so just used Spotify on my iPhone !
I loved my muso but managed to blow 2 up , seems I’m the only person to managed this as I can’t find another example anywhere !
Sonos sounds pretty good , id be tempted to go with 2 x play1’s as you get decent stereo separation, the app is good and it has built in Alexa which is fun, I now have the whole house coverd in speakers as it easy to just keep adding more zones ! Still miss the muso , it looked ace , but I think 2 play5 sound better

I'll highly recommend the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 4 - simply stupendous, even for if it was full-size. It does very much need to be in a corner to come out of itself - but bluddy hell does it! Bluetooth connectivity is great (I have a Samsung S9+). I'd consider myself an audio nut of sorts (e.g. have an Astell & Kern portable audio device).
