I have a Mitchell Transcriptor (of Clockwork Orange fame) with SME arm, it works but its in need of a good service and a few pieces renewed, anyone know where i can get this done in the UK?
you could contact Michell for a list of dealers they ar still going strong. i know my local dealer Lintone Audio have recently serviced and sold a couple of these turntables, they are also a Michell and sme dealer as well
Ive done a bit of a deeper search today and found a company called Transcriptor Ltd which is owned/run by the son of the original Mr Michell so i will try to contact them to see if they can help but thanks for your pointers too, I will give them a shout if I have no luck.
